CARRIE STRINE - Publisher and Editor In Chief

Carrie is a New York City based artist, born and raised in central Pennsylvania. She graduated from Drexel University in 2008 with a BS in photography and received her MFA in 2010 from Massachusetts College of Art. She currently works for 20x200 and spends her free time living and working with designer and illustrator, Tim Lahan.

TIM LAHAN - Art Director

Tim is a New York-based Illustrator and Graphic Designer. Lahan’s goal has always been to communicate visually in a simple and direct aesthetic.  His clients include The New Yorker, Jack Spade, McSweeney’s, GOOD, AOL, Nike, and The New York Times.

BRITTANY CAMPBELL

Brittany is an artist and founder of The Home Ground. With a background as a weaver and textile artist, she designs minimal, meaningful jewelry by hand using natural stones and quality metals. Brittany is unendingly inspired by the natural world and the wabi sabi aesthetic.

LISA CONGDON

Fine artist and illustrator Lisa Congdon is best known for her colorful paintings and collages. Lisa is also known for her hand-lettering and pattern design, and she keeps a blog called Today is Going to be Awesome. She is a voracious world traveler, and plans to visit a different place every year for the rest of her life. Lisa lives in Oakland, CA, with her partner and animals.

GRACE DANICO

Grace is a modern renaissance woman, specializing in illustration in New York. Ilustration Editor at the design blog Grain Edit, Grace also holds a Masters in Library Science. She is available for freelance, karaoke, and dates including music, plants, pizza, fried chicken, and ice cream*.

SALLY ENGLAND

Sally is an artist, designer, and maker. Working primarily with rope as her medium, Sally has created custom work for clients like Nike, ACE Hotel, and Kelly Behun Studio in NYC. Sally currently resides in the great lakes state, where she has a studio inside of an old Victorian flat.

DANIELLE HORETSKY

Danielle is an art historian working as curatorial assistant at the Walters Art Museum. While studying in Oxford, she fell in love with British Art and material culture. She sings with the Baltimore Choral Arts Society. Danielle lives with her partner and menagerie of pets in Baltimore.

JESSICA MARQUEZ

Jessica is a self-taught, passionate embroideress. She is the author of embroidery book Stitched Gifts and the maker behind Miniature Rhino. Her embroideries have graced the pages of InStyle, Bust, and Daily Candy. A Californian girl, Jessica lives in Brooklyn, NY.

MARKO METZINGER

Marko is a New York-based still-life photographer with a repertoire that also extends to conceptual short films. His clients include Alex Sepkus, Judith Ripka, Oprah, Marie Claire and his films were featured in the 2011 F5 motionography festival.

SHABD SIMON-ALEXANDER

Shabd is an internationally renowned dye artist. Her clothing line, shabd, is produced locally in NYC’s garment district, and all dyed fabrics are dyed by hand. Shabd is the author of Tie-Dye: Dye It, Wear It, Share It.  She also teaches workshops, and you can find a current schedule on her website.

ELI VANDENBERG

Eli is an artist and founder of the printmaking studio Basement Press. His project Slogans and Battle Cries is a queer community printing project, and you can read his trans-related stories, thoughts and musings on his blog Body in Progress.

Jing is a Chinese-born illustrator and printmaker. Her clients include Chronicle Books, Etsy, Fab, GOOD, McSweeney's, Momofuku, The New Yorker, and NPR. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY and works out of a studio in Greenpoint.

PAUL WITTLE

Carrie's Grandpa and knot-tier extraordinaire, Paul is also an avid snake hunter and outdoorsman. Retired from PP&L, he now enjoys working with leather and cord, making sheaths for knives and handmade jewelry.
